2023 NJECC Mini-Documentary 2nd Place Winner

The East Orange School District is proud to announce that scholar, Robert , from Cicely Tyson School of Performing and Fine Arts has won 2nd Place in the 2023 NJECC Mini-Documentary Challenge. Robert wrote a story of resilience in the managing normal activities at a time when nothing was normal titled “Powering Through COVID”. Robert’s film was judged by four judges who reviewed: The Script and Storyboard, Content and Organization, Instruction, Audio and Voice Editing, Use of Media, Pace and Teamwork. Robert will receive a certificate and a small token from NJECC. Kudos to teacher, Ricardo Romero, as well as Principal John English, and Assistant Principals Ameenah Poole and Wanda Davis for their continuous support.
